I Systems, Introduces SMD-3D Measurement & Inspection System

The SMD 3-d Measurement/Inspection system was designed to be an
affordable, cost effective surface profiling system for solder
paste measurement. The System is a combination of laser and
video imaging technology. the laser generates up to five laser
stripes per smd pad. The multiple Stripes allow the user to
better evaluate the entire pad area instead of a single slice.

The system is capable of measurement accuracy's down to 0.0001".
In addition to the Z height capability, X and Y measurements can
be made as well. The 3-axis measurement capability allows the
system to accurately calculate paste volume.

Other applications include: BGA Co-Planarity and ball Height
Measurement and a wide variety of other 3-d measurement
applications spanning many industries

The System is configured as follows: 6.5:1 Zoom Optics; Multiple
Stripe Laser Sensor; Static Safe 13.0" x 13.0", X, Y, Rotary
Worktable; High Resolution S-VHS, Color CCD Camera and 17" SVGA
Computer Monitor;  Measurement Software; Data Collection Software;
Pentium PC, Diffuse Illumination, and Rigid Stand.
